MIL-STD-461

MIL-STD-461
MILSHEL designs and manufactures all its military shelters and auxiliary systems in compliance with the MIL-STD-461 standard. Published by the U.S. Department of Defense, MIL-STD-461 is an internationally recognized standard that defines the requirements for electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of military equipment.

The standard ensures that shelters and integrated electronic systems can operate without being affected by external electromagnetic fields and without causing interference to other mission-critical systems. This is particularly vital for communication, radar, command-and-control, and CBRN applications.

MILSHEL tests its shelters across a frequency range of 150 kHz to 10 GHz, achieving 60 dB attenuation levels for electric fields, magnetic fields, and plane waves.

Thanks to MIL-STD-461 compliance, MILSHEL shelters deliver proven reliability in NATO operations, mobile defense platforms, and international military projects.
